1st Olney Scout Group

In our colony we have both boys and girls from 6-8 years old.   Weekly sessions take place on Monday evenings during term time. Each week we have a theme, sometimes visiting other countries (travelling on our pretend aeroplanes) and trying foreign foods, sometimes doing crafts, going for walks and sometimes we invite visitors in to tell us about things that they know more about than we do!!  From time to time there are activities offered at weekends.

We hold a waiting list for those interested, but children should be 5 years old to go on the list.

We are also looking for adult to enrol as regular helpers/leaders.  We can be contacted on Beaver Leaders

Beavers can complete various badges during their time in Beavers, both at home and during the sessions  (further details can be found on this page) and most of our Beavers manage to achieve their Chief Scouts Bronze Award which is the highest award they can attain Beaver Badges
